capitalism

  1. it is an economic system in which means of production is controlled by private sectors rather than government or similar organization. The capitalism belief is that greed will essentially bring happiness to everyone because greed creates competition. competition among companies creating the same good will drive the price down and both the consumers and the producers will be better off in the end. Competition also creates discoveries and technologies that will better the society.

  2. system of economic organization where capital or wealth is the dominant player - while labor must respond to the dictates of the capitalists, that is, those who possess the capital. it is a system for creating wealth which rewards capital first and best - on the basis that capital assumes all the risk, while labor has a guaranteed income with no risk.
